The Ulster SFC quarter-final between Fermanagh and Cavan is to be played at Brewster Park, Enniskillen, on 16 June, as final preparations are being made for the hosting of the G8 summit.

The GAA's Ulster Council confirmed the decision on Sunday night.

"Plans will be made to assist those travelling to the game," they said.

It had been speculated that the Erne county may have to forfeit their home advantage because of the gathering of world leaders, including Barack Obama.

The fixture will have a 14:00 BST throw-in time.

Dignitaries will be arriving in the Erne county for the start of the G8 summit at the Lough Erne Resort, which is being held on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 June.

Strict security measures will be in force in Fermanagh in the build-up to the summit.
