Kevin Niblock and Brian Neeson are among the players to return to the Antrim panel for the 2016 campaign.

Tomas McCann, Kevin O'Boyle, Sean Burke and John McCarron are also back along with Ricky and Martin Johnson.

Niblock and Neeson played soccer this year while O'Boyle took a break from the game.

The players have decided to return to the Saffrons fold after discussions with Antrim joint managers Frank Fitzsimons and Gearoid Adams.

Adams was brought into the county set-up by Fitzsimons in October along with ex-world boxing champion Brian Magee, who is the squad's fitness coach.

"Frank is very easy to work with - he is a pure Antrim man," Adams told the Irish News.

"He would do anything to get Antrim out of Division Four and all he needs is the buy-in from the players now.

"So this is the start of it. That's why I'm very enthusiastic about the job.

"We've just over seven weeks to the National League and our first match is away to Carlow and that's one we're going to have to win."
