Jonathan Rea saw his World Superbike series lead reduced to three points after finishing third in the final race in the Czech Republic.
The champion from Northern Ireland was a place behind nearest challenger Toprak Razgatlioglu, who followed two weekend wins by coming second.
English rider Scott Redding, sitting third in the series, eased to victory.
Rea crashed out in Saturday's opener before earning third place in Sunday morning's Superpole race.
The Ballyclare man, who is chasing a seventh straight title, was fourth after the first lap of the final race on Sunday afternoon.
Rea moved past Italian Andrea Locatelli into third but the front two were well clear and Redding pulled away from Razgatlioglu to take the 25 points.
Top six
Locatelli came in fourth with Michael Ruben Rinaldi and Alex Lowes completing the top six.
"I felt I did okay - I tried my best and did as good as I could do," Rea told Eurosport following the race.
"I didn't really have grip from the start and when those guys clicked into second gear I was struggling to go with them.
"It was a tough weekend but we have to be realistic. Some weekends are going to be strong and some not."
It was a 201th career podium finish for Rea, who had taken a treble at at the previous round of the series at Assen to go 37 points clear..
Razgatlioglu had earlier led the Superpole race from the start to claim his second victory of the weekend after the Turkish rider took a thrilling win in race one on Saturday.
Rea crashed twice in race one and then had to settle for third in the Superpole race after being overtaken in the final lap by Redding.
