Olympics: BBC to count down best British moments from summer Games

The BBC's Olympic coverage included a special director's cut of the London 2012 opening ceremony

Britain's Greatest Olympic Moments, to be broadcast on BBC One on Saturday, will conclude the BBC's programmes looking back at past Olympics.

The special programme features a countdown of the top 25 British performances at summer Games.

You can follow live text on the BBC Sport website while the public have also voted for their favourite moment.

The BBC has also shown highlights from the past three Games with 12 days of dedicated Olympics Rewind shows.

Meanwhile, Olympic Secrets on BBC iPlayer allowed viewers to watch key moments alongside some of Britain's greatest Olympians.

This special bumper show counts down the top 25 moments from Britain's summer Olympics since Tokyo 1964. But which one will come out top?

We will also be counting down with the TV programme via a live text, and you can get involved by tweeting your favourite moments using #bbcolympics.

The show is full of inspiration and emotion, with highlights including legendary moments from London 2012, Moscow 1980, Los Angeles 1984, Barcelona 1992, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and Rio 2016.
