Hull KR half-back Blake Green has lost his appeal against the one-match suspension handed to him this week by the Rugby Football League.

Green was banned and fined £300 for a Grade A dangerous throw on St Helens winger Jamie Foster in last Sunday's Super League victory at Craven Park.

Green, who pleaded guilty to the initial charge, appealed against the severity of the punishment.

But an RFL disciplinary panel has upheld the decision.

They have also ordered the forfeit of a £200 appeal bond from Green, who will miss Rovers' trip to Catalan Dragons on Saturday week.
