Bradford Bulls have agreed a one-year contract with former Huddersfield prop Phil Joseph after a successful trial with the club.

The 27-year-old, who has also had spells at Halifax and Swinton, said: "I've worked really hard to get to this level and I'm just really happy.

"I'm very proud and honoured to be at Bradford. It's a great club and this is the biggest achievement in my life."

Joseph becomes the Bulls' seventh new signing ahead of the new season.

Coach Mick Potter said: "Phil has done really well in pre-season and his fitness is improving all the time.

"He's come from playing part-time so he's like a new young guy coming into the squad and is very enthusiastic and wants to do well and improve all the time.

"He's in his mid-twenties but he's very driven and I'm looking forward to seeing how he progresses throughout the year."
