Castleford Tigers centre Josh Griffin has left the Super League side to join rugby union outfit Leeds Carnegie.
BBC Radio Leeds understands the 22-year-old, who can also play on the wing, has already started training with his new team.
He joined the Tigers from Huddersfield Giants last September and has scored 12 tries this season.
Boss Ian Millward has already made six signings ahead of next year and has allowed Griffin to move on.
