Scott Dureau: Catalans half-back to return to training
- Published
Catalans Dragons half-back Scott Dureau has been cleared to return to training following recovery from an operation to remove a tumour behind his eye.
The 26-year-old will return to Perpignan next week where he will link up with head coach Laurent Frayssinous and his teammates.
"It's good news for him and the team," Frayssinous said.
"The aim is for Scott to play again, but the exact date of his return to the competition is yet to be determined."
Dureau won the Albert Goldthorpe medal for his performances in Catalans colours last season, scoring in all 32 of their matches with 12 tries and 134 goals.
