Widnes Vikings sign Danny Galea from Canterbury Bulldogs

Widnes Vikings have signed Canterbury Bulldogs back-row forward Danny Galea on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old has also played for Penrith Panthers, Wests Tigers and Canbera Raiders in the NRL.

"From day one, everything has run smoothly and the process of sorting out the contract was easy," he told the club website.

"I'm contracted to the Bulldogs until the end of October, but I'm hoping to be over in Widnes the following week."
