Castleford Tigers have signed Hull FC forward Garreth Carvell on loan until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old joined the Black and Whites from Bradford on a one-year deal in February and has played seven times in the league for Lee Radford's side.

The ex-Warrington man will be eligible to play in Castleford's Challenge Cup semi-final against Widnes in August.

Coach Daryl Powell said: "I have worked with him before and I am confident he will fit into our system with ease."

Carvell could make his debut for the Tigers in Sunday's trip to St Helens.
