Huddersfield Giants sign academy prop Learmonth

Huddersfield Giants have signed teenage prop forward Mick Learmonth on a one-year Super League contract for 2015.

Learmonth, 19, joins fellow academy products Liam Johnson and Tyler Dickinson in agreeing a senior deal for 2015.

Giants managing director Richard Thewlis told the club website: "Mick is a player of great potential.

"The reality for him is likely to be time out on dual registration or loan next year."

Learmonth said his goal was to make his Super League debut in 2015.
