Hull KR: Kris Keating released one year into three-year deal

Keating scored five tries in 24 appearances for the Robins

Hull KR have released half-back Kris Keating after one season at the club.

The 25-year-old joined the Robins from Canterbury Bulldogs on a three-year deal last August but failed to settle in England.

Keating, who scored five tries in 24 appearances for the club, is now set to return to his native Australia.

Chief executive Mike Smith said: "Kris was unsettled and wanted to return home at the end of the season. I'd like to thank him for all his efforts."
