Hull KR forward Neville Costigan has terminated his contract to return to Australia for personal reasons.

The Papua New Guinea international joined the Robins on a two-year deal from NRL side Newcastle Knights for the 2014 season.

He made 24 appearances in his only season, scoring three tries.

The club said in a statement: "Every effort will now be made to find a suitable replacement in the forwards for Super League XX."
