Castleford Tigers ran in seven tries as they thrashed last season's beaten Grand Finalists Wigan Warriors to earn their first Super League win of 2015.
The hosts registered three tries in the first 14 minutes, Tigers winger Justin Carney crossing twice early on.
James Clare, Luke Dorn, Liam Finn, Oliver Holmes and Michael Shenton also went over to seal a comprehensive win.
Josh Charnley scored two of Wigan's three tries, Matty Smith getting the other on a bad night for the Warriors.
They have now won just one of their opening four league matches and lie seventh in the table.
Wigan, who left out winger Joe Burgess and were still without injured captain Sean O'Loughlin, had no answer to a wonderful first-half display from Castleford, who chalked up their biggest ever win over the Warriors in the Super League era.
Australian Carney took his tally of tries for the season to six with two early scores, both coming after overpowering attempted tackles from Charnley.
Sandwiched in between was Clare's try from an excellent Dorn pass.
England international Charnley dived in at the corner to get Wigan on the scoreboard but Tigers full-back Dorn outpaced the Warriors' backline and dummied his way over to establish a 22-4 half-time lead.
Charnley's second merely gave the visitors false hope as Castleford's Finn took advantage of some good fortune, his grubber kick ricocheting back into his arms and giving him the simplest of tasks to ground the ball.
Another Finn kick was fumbled by Charnley and Holmes gladly accepted the opportunity for his side's sixth try of the night, before Castleford captain Shenton and Wigan scrum-half Smith rounded off the scoring.
Castleford coach Daryl Powell:
"The last month of my life has not been the best, to be honest. I haven't been the happiest bloke in the world, so to do what we did today was fantastic.
"We could easily have gone negative and cautious on the back of what's happened to us recently.
"That the players were able to express themselves in the way they did tonight was outstanding."
Wigan coach Shaun Wane:
"It was just not good enough at all. They wanted it more than us. I've never coached a team that have been beaten in every department like that.
"We were beaten by the better team - they wanted it more, ran harder and beat us in every department, which is very upsetting and devastating for me.
"It'll be a tough week. I wish we were playing Hull FC tomorrow. It's the worst day of my coaching career, by far."
