Ryan Bailey: Hull KR release prop for personal reasons

Ryan Bailey's solitary appearance for Hull KR came in their defeat by Wakefield in February

Hull KR have released Ryan Bailey because of personal reasons after just one appearance for the club.

Bailey, 30, joined the club on a two-year deal in October after 14 years with Leeds Rhinos.

The former England international struggled with Achilles and hamstring injuries and his one appearance came in their defeat by Wakefield last month.

The club said they had released Bailey to allow him to "focus on matters off the field".
