Hull KR half-back Terry Campese has signed a two-year contract extension with the option of a further 12 months.

The 30-year-old joined the Robins from Canberra Raiders in December on a one-year deal.

The former Australia international has made seven appearances for Chris Chester's side so far this season, scoring one try.

"We're only seven games into the season but I think we've shown signs we can do something this year," Campese said.

"This club is definitely going places and I'm glad to be a part of it.

"I've really enjoyed my time here since arriving in the New Year. The coaching staff have been excellent, the boys are a tight-knit group and I couldn't ask for it to have run any smoother."
