St Helens scrum-half Luke Walsh will be out for up to five weeks after having minor surgery on his ankle.

The 27-year-old Australian has only recently returned from a nine month lay-off after a serious knee injury.

Walsh has featured in five games this season after his comeback, scoring three tries.

Saints head coach Kieron Cunningham also revealed he will hand debuts to some of his younger players for Friday's game at Hull FC.
