Huddersfield came from 18-0 down to edge past Catalans for a fifth Super League triumph on the bounce.
Brayden Wiliame, Vincent Duport and David Mead scored within 17 minutes.
The hosts replied with tries from Alex Mellor, Darnell McIntosh and Jermaine McGillvary but Remi Casty's score had Catalans 24-14 up at the interval.
Adam O'Brien and McGillvary went over to level before Tony Gigot's drop-goal nudged Catalans ahead, but Oliver Russell's penalty gave Giants victory.
It was the first and only time they led in front of a bumper crowd of 9,121, but there was time for more late drama as Benjamin Jason had a 78th-minute try ruled out for the visitors because of a knock-on.
For Huddersfield head coach Simon Woolford it was revenge for his side's Challenge Cup defeat by the Perpignan club just a fortnight ago.
They stay eighth in the table, three points above their French opponents - who have a game in hand.
The home side could not deal with the kicking of Catalans early on, but restricted them to just one point in the second half as they held their nerve to continue their great form.
Huddersfield head coach Simon Woolford:
"I'm not sure how many of those type of games I can go through.
"We hung in for the fight and were able to somehow get the result late in the game, which is great for the guys' belief and confidence.
"By no means did we think the game was gone, that was sure.
"I thought we got lucky with a couple of late decisions, but a couple weeks ago we felt we got the back end of the stick against Catalans - that's what happens."
