Leeds Rhinos eased past Hull KR but the Super League victory was overshadowed by a broken leg for Harry Newman.
The Leeds centre suffered the injury 30 minutes in and was taken to hospital after being carried off on a stretcher.
By that point Rhinos were 18-0 up and scored seven tries in all, including two for Ash Handley, as they beat Rovers for the second time in six days.
Hull KR managed scores through Jimmy Keinhorst, Ryan Brierley and Shaun Kenny-Dowall but fell well short.
They remain bottom of the table - though there will be no relegation this season - while Leeds have seven wins from their 10 matches.
Rovers made 11 changes from the side beaten by Leeds in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals, giving a debut to academy full-back Will Tate, while wing Nick Rawsthorne made his first Super League appearance the club.
Converted tries from Rhyse Martin, Handley and James Donaldson preceded Newman's suspected tibia and fibula break, suffered after going into a tackle.
Richie Myler's try put Leeds 24-0 up but Hull KR matched them after that
Richie Myler went over to put Leeds 24-0 up before Keinhorst scored against his former club to put Rovers on the scoreboard 14 seconds before half-time.
Handley took advantage of a gap to get his second after the break but Brierley converted his own try to keep Hull KR within 18 points as they started to apply some pressure.
Alex Mellor crossed on his birthday and Luke Briscoe came off the bench to score as Leeds put the game well out of reach, with Rovers having the last say when Kenny-Dowall dived over in the corner for a consolation try.
Post-match reaction
Leeds coach Richard Agar: "We created 14 line breaks and scored seven tries.
"The boys are disappointed. We could have had a bigger gap at half-time, we squandered a number of chances, but we can't be too disappointed."
On Harry Newman's injury: "He's definitely broken his leg, his tib and fib we think. We feared he had broken his hip as well but they're saying it settled down in the ambulance."
Hull KR coach Tony Smith: "There are some similarities to last week with the way we started. You look up at the scoreboard and it's a bit demoralising.
"We didn't throw in the towel no matter what, there is a good spirit, we've just got to learn some lessons about how to start games.
"There were too many missed tackles and we're not playing the ball quick enough. But we can fix that up."
On making 11 changes: "A lot of these guys needed a chance. Some of them have been training a long time without having a crack.
"And there are some boys who have put in some big efforts in the last few weeks who needed a break.
"Shaun Kenny-Dowall was going to get a break but someone rang up this morning ill and I asked him to play.
"He put his hand up. He's a great pro and a great example to the young blokes. And I thought it was one of his best games since been with us."
