Catalans Dragons' home game against Warrington on Monday has been called off after two more confirmed Covid-19 cases at the French club.

The match was in doubt after five Catalans players tested positive last week, forcing Thursday's match against Hull FC to be called off.

The club remains shut down and a further round of testing will take place this week.

Catalans are fourth in Super League, but have not played since 9 October.

They have only completed 12 matches and must play 15 to qualify for the semi-final play-offs.

Meanwhile, only 1,000 fans will be allowed into the stadium because of new French government coronavirus restrictions, a fifth of the total previously permitted.
