Cornwall have signed Welsh back-row Charley Bodman and centre Tom Ashton.
Ashton, 29, joins the League One side - who are yet to win a game - from Rochdale on an 18-month deal.
He has also spent time at Hunslet, Oldham and Sheffield during his career.
Bodman, 20, moves to the Choughs having been released by League One rivals Hunslet this week.
Both players could make their debuts against West Wales Raiders on Sunday.
"Neil (Kelly, Cornwall coach) was a huge pulling point," Ashton told the club website, external.
"I played for him at Dewsbury and after I recovered from a bad knee injury, he put trust in me.
"Things weren't right for me this season so this move to Cornwall is a bit of a no-brainer for me.
"I have spent some time in Cornwall on holiday and I know what a beautiful part of the world it is. The people are very passionate about their rugby and by signing for 18 months, there is some continuity for me and the club also."
Bodman hopes playing regularly at Cornwall will give him a chance to make the Wales squad for this year's World Cup.
"I want to impress Cornwall and John Kear, the head coach of Wales. I know I need to be playing if I am to have any chance of making the Wales World Cup squad," Bodman told the club website.
"Having game time will tell me if I'm good enough to play at international level.
"I have been asking myself that question over the past few weeks after I wasn't involved with Wales for their game in France.
"I can't wait to get stuck in with Cornwall and give myself the best possible chance of answering all those questions."
