The line-up for the Rugby League World Cup men's quarter-finals is complete.

Host nation England were the only team through after two rounds of fixtures and they were joined in the last eight on Friday by New Zealand, who beat Ireland 48-10 for a 100% winning record in Group C.

Australia and Fiji joined them in the knockout stages after wins on Saturday and on Sunday they were joined by Tonga, Lebanon and Samoa, with Papua New Guinea taking the final spot on Monday.

It means the quarter-final line-up is as follows:

The semi-finals will be played on 11 and 12 November with Australia or Lebanon facing New Zealand or Fiji in the first match and England or Papua New Guinea playing Tonga or Samoa in the second.

Group A

England are through to the quarter-finals as Group A winners after three convincing victories and they will play the team that finishes second in Group D in their last-eight tie.

Samoa joined them after they came through their final group decider against France, winning 62-4 in Warrington on Sunday to set up a a Pacific showdown with Group D winners Tonga.

Greece, competing in their first World Cup, have been eliminated along with the French.

Group B

Holders Australia are through as Group B winners after handsome wins over all three of their group-stage opponents.

Fiji advanced as runners-up after beating Scotland in their final group fixture on Saturday, and will play New Zealand in the last eight.

Group C

New Zealand advanced as Group C winners after a 10-try win over Ireland on Friday.

Lebanon joined them in the last eight after a comfortable 74-12 win over tournament debutants Jamaica on Sunday.

The win for the Cedars ended Ireland's slim hopes of advancing to the quarter-finals and they and Jamaica exit the tournament.

Group D

Tonga reached the quarter-finals as Group D winners after they thrashed the Cook Islands 92-10 at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough.

Papua New Guinea defeated Wales 36-0 in their final match in Doncaster to reach the knockouts for the third time.
