Wigan Warriors forward Junior Nsemba has agreed a new four-year deal to stay with the club until 2027.

The 19-year-old came through Wigan's academy and made 13 appearances for the Super League champions last season.

Those included the Warriors' Challenge Cup tie against Leeds in May, when Nsemba scored his first try for the club in an 18-14 victory.

"He is an outstanding young man and a talented player," said Wigan head coach Matt Peet.

"I'm really looking forward to helping him develop on and off the field. He is someone we have very high expectations for."
