London Broncos have extended the contract of hooker Sam Davis for a further year.

Davis, 25, made 29 appearances for the Broncos in 2023 as they finished fifth in the Championship.

The Broncos then defeated Toulouse 18-14 in the Grand Final last month to secure a return to Super League.

"I'm really looking forward to this year. The opportunity to play Super League really speaks for itself," Davis told the club website.

"What we achieved last year was a pleasure to be a part of and I can't wait to rip in next year with the squad and make some even better memories."

Leicestershire-born Davis started his career with the Broncos but switched to York City Knights in 2022, before returning to the Wimbledon-based club.

It's the second Broncos contract announcement in as many days following the extension of full-back Alex Walker's contract on Tuesday.
