Jai Field: Wigan Warriors full-back signs new four-year contract

Australian outside-back Jai Field has signed a new four-year deal with Super League champions Wigan Warriors, running to the end of the 2027 season.
The 26-year-old has been a major attacking weapon for the Cherry and Whites since his arrival in 2021, scoring 43 tries in 59 games.
Field, who claimed four tries in 17 NRL games, has won Super League and Challenge Cup honours at Wigan.
"He is an outstanding player," Warriors head coach Matt Peet said.
"Our fans love him and rightly so - he is exciting to watch and one of those players that will inspire future generations of rugby league players.
"I look forward to building our working relationship and hopefully seeing Jai enjoying success both on and off the field."
After a devastating hamstring injury ruined his Wigan debut in 2021, the former Parramatta and St George Illawarra flier overcame the disappointment to play a key role for Peet.
His combination with fellow Australian Bevan French and half-back Harry Smith have helped Wigan finish the past two seasons as top regular season points scorers, particularly once finding a regular spot at full-back.
"I'm very grateful that the club and the fans have shown so much faith in me over the past few seasons," Field said. "It really did make it an easy decision to extend.
"I've enjoyed every minute of being here so far and I'm looking forward now.
"Hopefully we are building towards something special with this group that the club and coaches have put together, and that really excites me to be hanging around."
