London Broncos have signed Italy international Jack Campagnolo ahead of their Super League return.

The 25-year-old helped the South Logan Magpies finish as runners-up in Australia's Queensland Cup last year.

The half-back told the club website:, external "It was an easy choice to come to a great club with rich history."

Broncos director of rugby Mike Eccles said; "Jack is a terrific player that has been on the cusp of the NRL for some time now.

"I'm delighted that he has decided now is the right time to come to England and take on the Super League with us. He has great leadership qualities and is very much a general of a player. His organisational skills and strong kicking game will be a real asset."

Campagnolo was named in the Queensland Cup team of the season and was the competition's second-highest points scorer, kicking 90 goals and scoring three tries.

He has six caps for Italy and joins international team-mates Dean Parata and Ethan Natoli at the promoted club.
