England centre Mark Percival has signed a two-year contract extension with St Helens to run until the end of the 2026 Super League season.

The 29-year-old has been with Saints since joining their youth ranks at 14, and has scored 117 tries and 292 goals in 222 appearances for the Red Vee.

Percival has also won six England caps, scoring once, with his last cap coming under Wayne Bennett in 2018.

"I still feel like I've got a lot to give," Percival said.

"I will just give everything until I can't walk, which will probably end up the result."

Having overcome injuries to re-establish himself in the Saints side, Percival has been a serial winner - with World Club Challenge, Super League and Challenge Cup honours during his career.

"He's been here a long time and is almost part of the furniture now," head coach Paul Wellens said. "We don't take that for granted, he is a special player and a special person.

"Percy has been integral to the success that we have had here and has the utmost respect from every member of the playing group and coaching staff.

"As a club, we are always delighted when we can retain our better players, and Mark Percival is certainly one of those."
