Warrington Wolves have signed London Broncos half-back Oli Leyland and St George Illawarra Dragons second-row Dan Russell on two-year deals.

Leyland, 23, came through the Broncos academy and was ever-present for them in Super League this year.

Papua New Guinea international Russell, 28, made eight appearances in the NRL over two years with the Dragons.

“Playing with and learning off the likes of George Williams, and with Sam Burgess as coach as well, will really bring my game on and help push the team forward," Leyland told the club website., external

“I love what they’ve built already under Sam and I can’t wait now to rip in and be a part of it.”

On the signing of Russell, head coach Burgess added: “His size, power and physicality will strengthen our back-row options and he’ll add value to our pack moving forward.”
