Huddersfield Giants stand-off Tui Lolohea has signed a new two-year deal to remain with the Super League club.

The 29-year-old joined the Giants from fellow Super League side Salford Red Devils in 2021.

Lolohea has made 66 appearances in just over two seasons with the club, scoring 16 tries and 27 goals.

"There's 100% unfinished business for me being in a final and the top three, we need to focus on the league as the top six isn't that far out of reach for us," he told the club website., external

"Watto (Ian Watson) gets the best out of me, and we have a good relationship, he's always been good to me so that's one of the reasons that I wanted to stay, you want to work with people who you get on well with and you feel you can play good rugby under."

Lolohea helped the club to the Challenge Cup final in his first season while they also sealed a spot in the top three in 2022.

He has made 12 appearances this term, helping the Giants to the Challenge Cup semi-finals.

"When Tui plays well, we win, even in the losses he always puts his hand up and has been one of the shining lights in our sides," assistant coach Luke Robinson added.

"He plays consistent rugby and he's one of the most consistent in the league."
