Rhinos appoint Langley as assistant coach

Jamie Langley joined Sale Sharks' coaching staff in 2021-22

Leeds Rhinos have appointed Sale Sharks defence coach Jamie Langley as assistant to head coach Brad Arthur.

The 40-year-old played rugby league for Bradford, Hull KR and Sheffield Eagles.

He started his coaching career with London Broncos before switching codes to join Sale's staff in 2021-22.

“I am really looking forward to coming back to rugby league after a very enjoyable time with Sale Sharks," he told the club website.

"It was a great experience, and I had the opportunity to work with world class players and coaches as well.

"Now felt like the right time to come back to rugby league as it was an unbelievable opportunity to come to a club like Leeds.
