Danny Ward spent two years on Willie Peters' staff at Hull KR

Hull KR assistant coach Danny Ward has left the Super League champions to move closer to his family in London.

The 45-year-old joined Willie Peters' coaching staff for the 2024 campaign and helped them win the treble last season.

Ward, who had a spell with the Robins as a player, finished his on-field career in London and then coached the Broncos for three years between 2018 and 2021.

"It was a really tough choice, because it's been amazing [here]," he told the club website.

"I've loved every second of being back at Hull KR with the staff, players and the fans. Now it's time for a different challenge."
