Cornwall sign Bradford trio as Nichol joins Swinton

Cornwall back Coby Nichol has joined Championship side Swinton Lions on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old, who first joined the club from Bradford Bulls in 2022, played 17 times last season and made 15 appearances this campaign.
Nichol's departure comes as Cornwall sign Bailey Arnold, Waldimar Matahwa and Harry Gray on loan from Bradford until the end of the season.
“We have always said that we would never stand in the way of any player wanting to have a crack at a higher level,” Cornwall boss Mike Abbott told the club website.
“Coby has been given an opportunity to do just that at Swinton and we wish him every success in the last few weeks of the season, as they try to stay in the league above.”
Arnold, Matahwa and Gray have all signed permanent deals and could make their debuts against Hunslet at the weekend.
“They have been playing regularly for the Bradford reserve side so this step up to playing senior football is beneficial for both us and the players," Abbott said.
"They will be keen to show everyone what they can do, whilst it assists us with the squad being a little thin in certain areas due to injuries and suspensions."
The trio follow Jacob Bateman and Jamie Gill, who joined Cornwall on loan earlier this month.
