St Helens pair Lewis Dodd and Daryl Clark will both miss at least a month after picking up injuries in the golden-point win over Salford Red Devils.

Hooker Clark, 31, faces between four and six weeks out with a fracture in his foot, the same timeframe as scrum-half Dodd, 22, who has an elbow ligament injury.

"Losing Daryl and Lewis leaves us pretty light in the halves, with Jonny Lomax and Jack Welsby also on the sidelines," head coach Paul Wellens told the club's website, external.

"It's a huge blow but we'll look to adapt and see what we can do."

Forward Morgan Knowles also faces a two-game ban ruling him out of the Magic Weekend derby against Wigan Warriors on Saturday and the match with Hull KR.

St Helens are fourth in Super League with six games of the regular season remaining.
