Wakefield Trinity head coach Daryl Powell has said incoming signing prop Tray Lolesio will be "perfect" for the team.
The 22-year-old, who has made 15 appearances in the Queensland Cup so far this season, will join the Super League side on a two-year deal for the 2026 campaign.
"It's typical of what we've been doing in the Australian market. Looking for players who we think fit our mould and the way we want to play," Powell told BBC Radio Leeds.
"Tray came up and we spent a lot of time watching him and talking to him and then we decided he was the right kind of player."
Powell added: "He reminds me of [Castleford prop] Tom Amone and we feel like he will be perfect for us.
"He's a real goer in the middle unit on both sides of the ball, he's got high energy and high work-rate. I think he's a great addition."
