Huddersfield Giants' Jack Billington has agreed a new contract with the Super League club.

Billington, 20, will now stay at John Smith's Stadium until the end of the 2027 season.

The back-row forward has featured in two of the Giants' league games this season, as well as their Challenge Cup third-round tie last month.

"It means the world to me that the club have offered me an extension," Billington told the club's website, external.

"I had to make a very difficult decision a few years ago whether to go on tour to South Africa with England rugby union or sign an academy deal at the Giants and looking back now I wouldn't change it for the world."
