St Helens have signed former Man of Steel Jackson Hastings on a one-year contract for the 2026 season.
Half-back Hastings, 29, won the award in 2019 during his time with Salford Red Devils as they reached the Grand Final that year.
He spent two seasons with Wigan Warriors before returning to Australia to play for Wests Tigers and then Newcastle Knights.
But Hastings, who won four caps for Great Britain in 2019, will now be part of a Saints squad under new head coach Paul Rowley.
The pair worked together at Salford and Rowley is looking forward to reuniting with Hastings, who was pivotal to the Red Devils getting to Old Trafford in 2019.
"Having worked alongside him before, I know first hand how much of a competitor Jackson is," Rowley told Saints' website, external.
"Like everybody at our club, his standards and expectations are extremely high. I am very confident we have added a fantastic and highly motivated player to this great group of players."
