We have another pause in play for a French injury.

The home players have been through the wars today, they've needed the physio on significantly more often than the English players.

    France 0-26 England

An England error returns possession to France directly from their own kick-off.

Some sharper passes now as they go right, but Jodie Cunningham leads the English defence.

The speed of pass again from Zoe Harris is outstanding. Harris has come up with the most assists today, and been the dominant player on the field. Paige Travis has the strength to go over – an excellent player.

A reminder that Stuart Barrow's side won 64-0 when teams last met in April 2023.

I don't think we'll get anything like that score today, which is to France's credit although England have not been as efficient as they would like.

Chahrazad Himoudi v Anna Davies is turning into a fascinating battle.

Himoudi has to catch a kick on the full, over her shoulder, in her own try area with Davies steaming in. Himoudi, to her immense credit, pulls it off.

Defensively, France have been pretty good. It's putting together any form of attack which is the issue.

France have a scrum and a chance to launch an attack...

The very first pass is fumbled by stand-off Justine Roses. Urgh.

    Sums up France's game really.

Hmm, we've seen a couple of handling errors early on in this second half from England. They haven't yet been quite as sharp as they were before the break.

England of course control this game, but complacency must be avoided.

Chahrazad Himoudi is chased down by England wing Anna Davies, and just about manages to take control of the bouncing ball.

England are loooking to apply the early pressure.

Stuart Barrow will be happy overall, but he will just want his players to tidy things up a bit. He will be a little disappointed at the end of the half where England have got a bit scrappy. I think 20-0 probably flatters the French a bit, they’re struggling to get out of their own half. The right edge with Zoe Harris has been very strong for England.

    Nope, not this time.

England have scored four tries; the only complaint is that they haven't scored more.
