  1. try

TRY: Leeds 0-14 Wiganpublished at 24 mins

    Georgia Wilson; goal Jenna Foubister

Leeds run the ball through the hands and find Tally Bryer on the right touchline, but the final pass was clearly forward.

Errors have really let the Rhinos down in the first half.

But Wigan show their clinical side again!

It's more poor defence on Leeds' left edge as Georgia Wilson is allowed to spin and step inside through flailing challenge to cross near the posts.

Jenna Foubister bangs over an easier conversion attempt.

    Faye Gaskin

Great set from Wigan. That is frustrating, not like Anna Davies to drop them.

  3. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Leeds 0-8 Wigan

Warriors second rower Eva Hunter's powerful charge almost goes all the way before she is hauled down just short of the line.

Anna Davies is then inches away from reaching the kick to the corner and a hat-trick inside the opening 20 minutes.

  4. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Leeds 0-8 Wigan

Issy Northrop charges for the line on the last tackle but is wrapped up close to the posts by three Wigan tacklers.

Leeds are turning up the heat as they look to pin Wigan in front of their own line.

But then they concede a penalty for a high shot from Lucy Murray and the pressure is relieved.

  5. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Leeds 0-8 Wigan

Georgia Wilson almost breaks through but Connie Boyd hauls her down to prevent a run to the line.

Isabel Rowe's high kick into the in-goal area has too much on it.

Leeds need a foothold in this.

  6. 'Basic catch and pass'published at 12:12 British Summer Time 10 May

    Leeds 0-8 Wigan

    Faye Gaskin
St Helens and England half-back on BBC Red Button

It looks too easy again, Davies goes in untouched. It is basic catch and pass.

Wigan favour the right hand side and Leeds have to read that in defence. They need another defender on that side.

  7. try

    Anna Davies

All too easy for Wigan as they extend their lead.

Nice handling from the Warriors creates a two-on-one on the right edge and Anna Davies dots down her second try. Simple finish.

Jenna Foubister's touchline conversion attempt is good but drops just short.

  8. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Leeds 0-4 Wigan

A nervy start with neither side completing a full set in the opening seven minutes as errors creep in.

Another handling error as Wigan second-rower Eva Hunter drops a pass.

Leeds finally manage to put together a good set and get within 10 metres of the Wigan line but the grubber kick runs dead.

  9. 'Anna Davies is an athlete'published at 12:06 British Summer Time 10 May

    Leeds 0-4 Wigan

    Faye Gaskin
St Helens and England half-back on BBC Red Button

That is really frustrating for Leeds, the kick didn't go close to touch.

Anna Davies is going to score that, she's powerful, she's an athlete.

  10. try

TRY: Leeds 0-4 Wiganpublished at 5 mins

    Anna Davies

Leeds miss touch from a penalty and they're made to pay as Wigan spread play out wide to the right.

Anna Davies has acres of space and runs in her fifth try of the season from range.

Jenna Foubister clanks the post with the goal attempt.

    Leeds 0-0 Wigan

The spring sunshine is absolutely glorious in York, but the heat may prove an extra factor this afternoon.

Leeds receive the kick-off and have the first set. They make decent ground into the Wigan half.

A few nerves as Ellise Derbyshire turns over the ball with the first Wigan possession.

This tie has an air of familiarity about it, with the Rhinos having beaten Wigan at the semi-final stage for the last two seasons.

The Warriors are coached by Wigan legend Denis Betts who knows all about winning the sport's major honours.

"It's not rocket science. We've got a young group. We've got girls who have a bit of experience," he said.

"It's about making sure the preparation is right. You need to make sure the anxiety is excitement as well and make sure they feel exactly the same way."

While Wigan are striving for their first final appearance, Leeds have lifted the trophy twice - in 2018 and 2019.

They're bidding for a sixth final in seven seasons, although the Rhinos have suffered defeat in the last three to St Helens.

Leeds second-rower Lucy Murray is not taking anything for granted.

"Wigan have made some great signings this year and they're a team that has always been building year on year," she said.

"I believe this year will be a good year for Wigan so we're definitely not going in blindsided. I think it will be a competitive, good game."
