Redruths' Aaron Penberthy named in Counties squad

Redruth fly-half Aaron Penberthy has been named in the England Counties squad's tour of Spain in June.
The 19-year-old is one of 17 newcomers named in the 26-man squad, which also includes Launceston Ben Hilton and Plymouth Albion's Cameron Mitchell.
Manager Mike Old said: "It's fantastic to see young players getting their chance in representative teams.
"The Counties XV has always had a blend of young players and more seasoned campaigners."
Penberthy was a stand-out performer for the Reds in an otherwise disappointing campaign last term, scoring 247 points over the course of the season.
Another youngster included in the squad is Stourbridge number eight Ben Sparks, who played alongside Penberthy earlier in the month for the England Counties Under-20s side against Scotland, a match they lost by 18-15.
The squad begin their tour of Spain with a fixture against a Madrid XV on 4 June, before matches against Castilla Leon Union (8 June), and a Spain XV (11 June in Valladolid).
Old said: "As always we have an interesting balance of players, both young and more experienced.
"It's a great group of talent that will give coaches Dave Baldwin and Jan Bonney some excellent material to work with as they prepare to take on two Spanish districts before we tackle the Spanish national team."
