Saracens' Andy Saull wary of weakened Leicester Tigers

Saracens flanker Andy Saull believes Leicester's selection problems will not make them push overs when they travel to Welford Road on Saturday.

The Tigers, who have 12 players at the World Cup, have lost two of their three opening Premiership fixtures.

"There's a lot in the press about this not being a full-strength Leicester," Saull told BBC Three Counties Radio.

"But if you don't go there with your head screwed on you can get turned over very easily."

"You see teams like Exeter went there and managed to roll them over first game of the season," Saull added.

"But Leicester are Leicester, they're taught ever since they were academy boys to be a very physical side. So we can't rest on our laurels."

The Premiership champions were the only team to win at Welford Road last term, and the season before that they ended a 32-game wait for a win on Leicester's turf.

But Sarries forwards coach Alex Sanderson does not believe his side have developed a mental edge over the club they beat to win last season's title.

"We're always confident if we perform well, but I don't think we can take the last two years into account going to Leicester," he said.

"It's always going to be a big day and big occasion there.

"You look at their form at the start of the season and certainly they've got a lot of players out, but it's a place we want to go to and come back with a result, as we've done the last couple of years."
