Jersey full-back Glenn Bryce could be out of action for weeks after breaking a bone in his hand.

The Scottish Under-20 international picked up the injury during Jersey's win at Stourbridge on Saturday.

Coach Ben Harvey could now decide to switch Michael Le Bourgeois from fly-half back to his more familiar full-back position.

"He's broke a bone in his hand so that could be a couple of weeks that he's going to be out for," Harvey said.

"Hopefully we'll see the return of Ross Broadfoot and Dai Bishop which strengthens us in the backs.

"The biggest problem we've got is that we have a small squad."

Bryce scored two tries in Jersey's recent win over Wharfedale.
