Skipper Tom Rawlings paid tribute to the Launceston front row after the club got their second win of the season with a 28-12 home victory over Henley.

Tries from James Lightfoot-Brown and Lewis Patterson put the Cornish All Blacks 14-0 up at half-time.

Ben Hilton scored two second-half tries to counter Alex Penny and Ryan Newman's scores for Henley.

"The front three really led for us and set the platform for the rest of the team," Rawlings told BBC Cornwall.

But Rawlings warned that his side must not get carried away after their first win victory over Westcombe Park in September.

"We've got to keep our feet firmly grounded, we've got another tough game next week in Lydney away," he said.

"If we can play like we did today and keep that composure and direction in our game we should do alright at Lydney."

Hilton added his own tribute to the platform provided by the Launceston forwards.

"Without a solid set piece we probably wouldn't be in the positions that we were in today, our scrum and line-out functioned superbly," he said.

The win sees Launceston go 10th in the National Two South table.
