Struminski's pace has caused problems for defences in National Two

Launceston captain Tom Rawlings says teenage winger Aaron Struminski is 'a real find'.

Rawlings invited the 19-year-old to train with the club in pre-season after seeing him play at Truro College, where he is on the teaching staff.

Struminski has since played nine times for the Cornish All Blacks in National Two South and has scored a try in each of his last four games.

"We've got a real find of a player," Rawlings told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"He's come right out of the woodwork, we gave him his opportunity and he's taken it with two hands and he's kept it."

Struminski scored a spectacular long-range try last month against leaders Richmond but then had a fortnight out because of a muscle injury before returning to the side at the weekend.

Rawlings says Stuminki is working hard to improve his game all the time.

"He came up, had a little bit to work on, he was a bit rusty because he's still adapting as a player, he's still young.

"But he's showed what sort of a calibre player he is," he added.
