Injured Warriors trio to make return in reserve game

Worcester Warriors head coach Richard Hill says some of his long-term injured forwards are close to returning to full fitness.

Neil Best (broken arm) and Kai Hostmann (hamstring) are both set to return for the Cavaliers at Bath United in an "A" game friendly on Monday, 20 February.

Hill told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "We have an interesting back row with Adam Balding also coming in.

"Those three are champing at the bit and are desperate to get out there."

He continued: "They are so disappointed to have missed out on our recent good run."

Prop Ceri Jones will also play his second game having missed most of the season with a shoulder injury.

Hill says there is good news on fly-halves Andy Goode and Joe Carlisle as well: "Both trained last Friday but we did not risk them for the Harlequins game. They should be available for the game against Saracens on Friday."
