Jim Hamilton announced as new Gloucester captain

Gloucester have announced Jim Hamilton as the club's new captain for the forthcoming Premiership season.
The 29-year-old second row will take the armband from Luke Narraway, who left for Perpignan in the summer.
"His commitment to Gloucester Rugby's success is without question," director of rugby Nigel Davies told the club's official website.
"The kind of intense passion and energy he brings to the group adds to his qualities as a natural leader."
Hamilton, who joined Gloucester from Edinburgh in 2010, has been capped 39 times by Scotland.
However, the former Leicester Tigers man was forced to miss his country's tour of Australia, Fiji and Samoa this summer through suspension after being sent off for brawling with London Irish hooker David Paice when the clubs met on 5 May.
But Davies is confident Hamilton is the right man to lead Gloucester.
"He plays with his heart on his sleeve and is very serious about rugby and getting things right," he added.
"He has been really motivated by this opportunity and is looking forward to the new responsibility and commitment of leading our team."
