RFU Championship: Plymouth Albion 22-31 Nottingham
- Published
Plymouth Albion fell to their first Championship defeat at the Brickfields as they let a 15-point lead slip at home to Nottingham.
Winger Jack Arnott scored twice for Albion in the first quarter of an hour, with his first after just 28 seconds.
The visitors trailed 15-12 at the break and went ahead when Joe Cobden and David Jackson went over for converted tries early in the second half.
A Bevon Armitage try for Albion was in vain as Alex Lewington sealed the win.
Plymouth Albion boss Nat Saumi had made 13 changes from the side that lost to Rotherham in the British and Irish Cup last week, with only flanker Wayne Sprangle and centre Paul Bailey keeping their places.
