Worcester Warriors: James Percival signs 'long-term' deal

Worcester Warriors lock James Percival has signed a new "long-term" contract at Sixways.

The 28-year-old, who began his career at Warriors, has made a total of 33 appearances for the club since his move from Harlequins last year., external

During his two spells at Worcester, Percival's only try came in their 24-23 defeat against Bath this season.

"He has been a fantastic acquisition and has a superb attitude," head coach Richard Hill told the club website., external

"He is extremely passionate about the club, having been here before, and he is one of the senior players who will drive the ambition of the club.

"On the field he brings physicality, an abrasive edge and a fantastic work rate. He works incessantly and trains hard to get himself in really good shape.

"Every time he goes on the field he works and works, a lot of it unseen, and has a huge appetite for the game."
