Exeter Chiefs: Watisoni Votu deal set to be completed

Exeter could complete their deal for Fijian international winger Watisoni Votu within the next week.

The 27-year-old met UK Border Agency officials in Cardiff last week, with Exeter hoping to get a visa for him.

"Having taken him to the UK Border Agency on Monday, all the necessary paperwork will be finalised shortly," head coach Rob Baxter said.

"It's now all systems go and we hope to hear back from the agency in the next week to 10 days."

The club agreed a deal with Votu in the summer, but had problems as they initially filled out the wrong paperwork.
