Munster scrum half Cathal Sheridan has been ruled out for up to four months after breaking his arm in the Pro12 win against Ospreys on Sunday.

Sheridan had surgery on his right forearm on Monday night.

Leinster forward Kevin McLaughlin has been ruled out until the end of March after sustaining a broken nose in the win over Cardiff last Thursday.

The back row forward had a procedure in hospital in Dublin on Monday and is targeting a return against Zebre.
