England Women thrash Wales 35-3

England women kept alive their hopes of reclaiming the Six Nations title with a 35-3 win over Wales at the Stoop.

Katy McLean and Emily Scarratt kicked penalties to put England 6-0 up before Robyn Wilkins halved the deficit.

Scarratt raced down the wing to score the first of two tries before perfectly weighting a pass to send Kay Wilson in and give England a 23-3 half-time lead.

Natasha Brennan scored a debut try and Margaret Alphonsi crossed with Scarratt converting to complete a 17-point haul.

England have suffered one defeat in their Six Nations campaign, against France, who have won each of their three matches and are favourites to win the title with just two games remaining.

On Sunday, France play Scotland, who England defeated 63-0 earlier in the tournament.
